Knowing how to reflect on our feelings, being aware of our emotions and being able to communicate our mental states means being endowed with intrapersonal intelligence. A form of intelligence<\/a> that expresses itself through dreams, mental images and feelings in order for people to better understand themselves and their fears and motivations. Knowledge is learned through introspection<\/strong>, reflection and moments of individual thought<\/strong> because those who possess this intelligence prefer contemplation and the opportunity to explore themselves and their own affective motions not in the midst of chaos but in solitude.<\/p>\n

Knowing ourselves<\/strong>, our inner features, the motivation behind our choices, the reason for our decisions and the attitudes underlying our actions is the best way to mitigate the risk of making bad choices and taking paths that lie far away from our own feelings.
\nPeople who possess marked intrapersonal intelligence put the Socratic motto \u201cknow yourself\u201d into practice because they have good capacity for self-analysis<\/strong> and self-management which means being able to have a realistic vision of their talents and limits<\/strong>; to offer others a non-exalted version of themselves; it means being able to express thoughts, needs, emotions, fragility<\/a> and vulnerability in an honest and socially acceptable way.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, such people will tend to act and not to react in the face of any incidents along the way, to be accountable for their choices even when these lead to errors<\/a>. The ability to be accountable and to take responsibility<\/strong> is closely linked to the propensity to evaluate ourselves in a critical way<\/strong>, not waiting for the opinions of others to shape ourselves.
\nIn acquiring, processing or managing information<\/a>, in building their beliefs and opinions, people with intrapersonal intelligence take on average more time than others; for this reason, they could make mistakes when forced to give quick-fix answers or make decisions in a group. They may also perceive all choices that are far from their personal and conscious motivations as ruinous, as well as decisions that are not consistent with their own value framework.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
