RESOURCES

A toolbox to test yourself, train your skills, learn something new and share what you have learned with other people.

By talking a bit more about the Scuola, about our proCOURSES and approaches (traditional, experiential, game-based), we hope we have piqued your curiosity to a greater degree about the many methods and tools we can offer to complete a journey together; one of acceptance, understanding and learning from mistakes.
And even if Scuola di Fallimento is the first organisation created for teaching how to overcome the fear of failure, so that you can draw your own success, whether you are a corporate organisation, a professional, or a school – the first step along this path always begins with ourselves.
In this section, we have included a range of useful resources we recommend or make available to you to learn more about mistakes, failure and bias, to try out some practical exercises aimed at gaining better self-knowledge, with a view to helping you understand the main concepts and – why not – inspire you.
Specifically, you’ll find:

  • Error-Papers (E-Papers): a series of exercise books dedicated to choices, errors and failures. Short, straight-to-the-point, not only ready-to-read but also for “practicing”!. For the moment, available only the Italian version, the English will come soon.
  • Book: Il Fallimento è Rivoluzione (in Italian only) “Failure is Revolution”, the book by Francesca Corrado in which she explains why making mistakes is good.
  • Quotes: they may not be quotes from well-known celebrities, but they are our quotes and mottos that represent the Scuola, the values we believe in and that we hope will be a source of inspiration and motivation.
  • FAQs: a collection of the questions we get asked most frequently and maybe even a couple of questions we haven’t been asked yet.
  • Glossary: a selection (continuously updated) of the terms we use most commonly at Scuola di Fallimento, terms you will read on this website or may have heard but whose meaning is still elusive. Russian philosopher Mikhail Bakhtin wrote:
“All words have the “taste” of a profession, a genre, a tendency, a party, a particular work, a particular person, a generation, an age group, the day and hour …”.
Looking at the origin of words, their etymology, their profound meaning not influenced by daily usage, collective use and subjective declinations may help us look at such words from a new perspective that generates an emotional trigger in us, especially if negative, such as, for example, words like failure, mistake, fall and stumble.
And find, using this route, a deeper meaning to what we are experiencing.
