There is no one, works-for-all recipe. What we do know is that failure is a possibility to be contemplated in every area of life, and that it can be overcome by analysing it, accepting it and learning from it. One of the first steps to take for overcoming a failure is to train our ability to learn from mistakes, to make learning – even from negative experiences – a good individual practice, or one to be shared within a team. In itself, no. The idea that all stories are success stories, but that success is free from setbacks and disappointments is far from reality. Making mistakes is human; continuing to commit new ones is perhaps even more so. Any success story – from the child who is learning to walk and taking his first steps, to expeditions to the moon, to the publication of Harry Potter books – is the result of a path strewn with mistakes, stumbling stones and bitter disappointments. What matters is putting ourselves in the right conditions (both in terms of mindset, skills, and tools) to effectively identify and analyse failures, developing and practicing specific learning strategies that will help us shape our success. If professional skills can be taught and history or art, double entry bookkeeping or a foreign language can be similarly learned, it is possible to teach and learn imagination and creativity, critical thinking and active listening or how to capture weak signals and how to navigate uncertainty. Little is invested in this type of instruction, believing that such skills are innate abilities. In actual fact, we learn them in our process of discovering the world and ourselves, by gaining experience, living conflictual situations, experiencing life and forming our personalities.

For this reason, the cost of the Cycle of Choice course varies according to the structure and length of the course, which will be established together with you, based on your specific needs. Our services – such as the Cycle of Choice, talks, games and much more – are designed and may be held both as a face-to-face and virtual experiences. As much as we love and support in-person meetings, as far as possible, we also believe that new technologies have the undoubted advantage of breaking down some physical barriers and reaching more people wherever they may be located, even when they are geographically at different places as individuals and/or respect to our professionals.
