“Grow Different” is our Manifesto which embeds the values in which we believe, what makes us unique and the way in which we want to cultivate a healthy culture of error and the proper mindset to grow in personal, professional and corporate lives, through some inspiring principles.
Denying mistakes, refusing to think of them as normal, admissible and bearable leads us to build narratives about success for every dimension of our life: the personal one we narrate on social media and the working one we put on our curriculum. If we are a business, our website will be full of success case histories and stories of satisfied customers endorsing the solutions offered.

Victories and successes are undoubtedly more intoxicating than tumbles and defeats, but errors and defeats are an integral part of our life experience and can teach us something more than apparently straightforward situations with no stumbling blocks.
For sustainable personal and business development, we believe it’s important that people and corporate organisations actually start looking at failure from a different perspective and with a different mindset, which view mistakes as creative acts opening eyes to a different option.

Grow Different is therefore an invitation to think and act in a non-habitual way and view what is happening from a different perspective.
But it is also what inspires us in our daily actions.
Today, more than ever, at Scuola di Fallimento, we feel the need to underscore the pillars sustaining our purpose, for supporting and boosting everyone who wants to commit to changing things and to thinking, acting and growing in a different way.

We believe in the need to change the lenses through which we look at the world.
We think of defeat as an integral part of life.
Let’s redefine clichés about what success is.
We are looking for allies who do not judge our blunders and that encourage us to reach for the stars.
We are looking for the exception that disconfirms the rule.
We build places where errors are considered a steppingstone for moving forward.
We think of vulnerability not as a weakness but as the measure of our strength.
We believe in the principle of uncertainty and the need for sharing.
We prefer truth to perfection. We differentiate beauty of emotions to soulless rationality.
We admire unscripted artists and errant knights.
We are inspired by undaunted enthusiasts (rebels) and those who are not afraid to get up each time they fall.
We embrace people who, despite their fear, accept the risk that the mould is worth breaking and draw new blueprints to give themselves a second chance.
We make doubt our only certainty.
We believe that the impossible is not a utopia.
And that whatever happens, there will always be a new conquest, a new opportunity, a new beginning waiting for us just round the corner.
