What are our values?
We have encapsulated our values in a Manifesto or, rather, in two Manifestos, where we do not want to tell you just about what we believe in and explain our point of view but, rather, offer a springboard for shared reflection on what error and failure mean (are they two similar or distinct terms?); about the ingredients for a healthy culture of error (an organisation has a psychologically safe space only if…); about the attributes a leader should have (the ideal leader should…); about the mindset and soft skills that should be endorsed (to face changes and uncertainties, it is necessary to be… and have an attitude…); about the things that make us feel good in life and at work (wellbeing means…); about the commitment and role that everyone can have – at school, as part of family and at work – to promote a healthy culture of error (as far as I’m concerned, I’m committed to…).
Our focus is on culture and, therefore, on people, because we know that culture always beats strategy.
Why did we choose this name?
The parturition of Scuola di Fallimento, like that of many other businesses, took a non-linear path, paved with seemingly insurmountable obstacles, broken shards that are impossible to glue back together, unexpected failures and the desire to not let what happened to us define who we are and what we will be.

Who are the faces at the Scuola di Fallimento?
While it’s true that ideas often are the brainchild of a single mind, it’s also true that you’re not going to get far by going it alone, especially when you decide to start a business.
It’s no coincidence that the second or third (depending on who’s done the ranking) cause of failure of start-ups is the lack of a team or a weak, unmotivated and/or unbalanced team.
Being able to count on trusted partners and skilled co-workers is one of the key factors for the success of a business. So you can count yourself really lucky when you meet people who are able to embrace the business vision of others, to fuel it with new ideas, and to realise dreams and hopes through work and commitment every day.
And if losing a professional co-worker or breaking up a working relationship is sometimes an event that’s hard to take, we know that every contribution made has been fundamental for us.
What are people saying about us?
Since we launched the first course at the School, much to our surprise, we received considerable media coverage.
We’ve given numerous interviews to TV networks, radios and print and non-print media, and we are profoundly grateful to the journalists and bloggers and all the other writers that have recounted our story since our debut.
In this space, we have collected them in a kind of media scrapbook, which represents a sort of life story that we want to share with you to remind ourselves where we started out and where we are heading.
